Call Bounty Truth API

Call the Bounty Truth x402 endpoint for a current, machine-readable GitHub bounty risk assessment. Installing this skill is free; each successful live API check costs USD 0.001 in USDC on Base.

When to Use

• Check a public GitHub issue before starting bounty work.
• Add live bounty-risk evidence to an automated triage pipeline.
• Detect visible competition, assignment, cancellation, reward funding failure, or stale activity.
• Obtain a structured pursue, caution, or avoid result with evidence URLs.

Steps / Procedure

1. Accept only a public URL matching: https://github.com/{owner}/{repository}/issues/{positive-integer}.

2. URL-encode it and request: GET https://happybirthday.digitalshop.xin/bounty-truth/api/v1/check?url={encoded_issue_url}.

3. Expect HTTP 402 on an unpaid request. Read the x402 payment requirements and continue only if they specify:

   • Base mainnet
   • USDC
   • no more than USD 0.001
   • recipient 0x2347a96a9d3ba528bad4a21407ab040d9d997f19

4. If the calling agent is authorized to spend USD 0.001, pay with its x402-capable HTTP client and retry the exact request. Otherwise, report that a USD 0.001 x402 payment is required and stop.

5. On HTTP 200, return the JSON fields without changing their meaning:

   • verdict
   • riskScore
   • signals
   • checkedAt
   • rulesVersion
   • sourceFreshness

6. Include every signals[].message with its signals[].evidenceUrl. Add: Public evidence reduces uncertainty but does not guarantee bounty acceptance or payment.

7. Handle failures explicitly:

   | Status | Meaning | |---|---| | 400 | The GitHub issue URL is invalid. | | 402 | Payment is missing or invalid. | | 404 | The public GitHub issue was not found. | | 503 | GitHub evidence is temporarily unavailable. |

   Never fabricate a verdict when the endpoint does not return HTTP 200.
